AQWorlds The Span - Library of Time


And then at 27 July 2012, Warlic invites you to enter the Library of Time.


TALK TO WARLIC

Intro: Begin learning about the world which your otherself inhabited many millenia ago. Quest through a simulacrum of their world. Learn what you can, as fast as you can. The Tek Golem will assist you.

Go to the door with the aquarium. Begin learning about the world which could have been yours, had different decisions been made long ago. Adventure through a simulacrum of their world. Learn what you can, as fast as you can. The Cysero's Orb Golem will assist you.

Go to the door with the mirror. Begin learning about the world which your otherself inhabited many millenia ago. Quest through a simulacrum of their world. Learn what you can, as fast as you can. The Tek Golem will assist you.

Go to the door with King Alteon's crown. This IS your world... or what your world will be should you fail to achieve the Destiny laid out for you. Should Chaos gain control of Lore, life as you now know it will be forever changed. Those you know will be twisted beyond recognition, and the home you love will be no more.




Task 1: Time to Learn the Truth
Description: If you are going to adventure through the places you must go, you will need to learn more about the lands, people and creatures that make them up. Talk to all of the golems in TheSpan to understand where they originated.

Items Required: Bulbug's Notes (1), Lucretia's Notes (1), Tek's Notes (1), Warlic's Notes (1), Mince's Notes (1), Orb's Notes (1)

Rewards: 200 Gold, 200 XP, 200 Rep: ChronoSpan

How To:
Go back to the Span (Code Location: thespan), and talk to:

- Lucretia. Then she will told you, "Oh, it's you again! I remember you now, and I know you're not the other-you, the one from the world I remember. The Master tells me to tell you to call it AdventureQuest. It needs a name because there are so many times and worlds we need to talk about. I am supposed to talk about the planet--devourer, I know, but the details are fuzzy... Does my Sandcrystal-Amulet look broken to you?".

- Tek. Then she will told you, "The world I come from is made up of many, many weapons-- BIG AND HEAVILY-ARMED MECHA! Tons of lasers, missiles, cannons, machine guns... stop me if this sounds familiar. We need all this, because-- the last thing the woman I am modeled after knows-- a giant, unidentified warship-sized object is hurtling towards the planet!".

- Warlic. Then he will told you, "The world I come from, you may call MechQuest. After our Kingadent, Slugwrath, declared war on the Shadowscythe Empire, we needed as many mecha pilots as we could to battle their legions of dark warriors. A young hero much like you came to GEARS University to learn what it would take to save the world".

- Cysero's Orb. Then it will told you, "Yeah, magic's a chancy thing. Hard to predict what it's going to do. The mage who built me knew a lot about that. One thing he didn't touch, though, was prophecy. Didn't need to, with his time-traveling phonebooth. Prophecy's a big thingin that world. 'Specially when it concerns not-you, the dragon not-you rode, and saving the world".

- Mince. Then he will told you, "Pirates, Ninja, Paladins, Doomknights... the world I come from-- ya may call it Drag'nFable for lack of a better name-- it's got a lot of fightin'. Now us pirates, we love ta fight... but only ninjas an' other enemies we can see! When the drag'ns start a-roarin' or the elements start clashin'... that there gets a mite TOO intense. An' it happens ALL the time!".

- Bulbug. Then he will told you, "We got things in my world I don't think you got here. You know them Elemental Lords? No? Hunh. Guess your Champions work for thet, yeh? Our Lords, they do a mite good job o' interfering with our world. Them and the ones above'em. I steer clear o' all thet, but I hear the Hero who's a lot like ya... got into lotta trouble runnin' around for'em".

After that, report back to Warlic to get your reward.


Task 2: Gain Access to Doors
Description: Pass through the doors along these halls to be transported to... recreations of worlds you will never truly know. It is only proper for the creatures of those worlds to grant you access. Slay a Sneak, a Tog, and a Shadowscythe to gain the keys you need.

Items Required: AQ Dimension Key (1), DF Dimension Key (1), MQ Dimension Key (1)

Rewards: 300 Gold, 300 XP, 300 Rep: ChronoSpan

How To:
Defeat Shadowscythe to get MQ Dimension Key. After that defeat Tog to get DF Dimension Key. Then defeat Sneak to get AQ Dimension Key. After that, report back to Warlic to get your reward.


Task 3: Adventures and Quests
Description: In a land where aliens walk, the gods battle alongside mortals, and a Hero is born every minute-- YOU commanded the field. Or someone very like you. Slay the Sneaks and Moglin Ghosts to learn vital knowledge about life in a world I call AdventureQuest.

Items Required: Tales of Planet-Peril Page (6), Necromancy in AQ Knowledge (1), Ruby-red Eye Shard (3)

Rewards: 400 Gold, 400 XP, 400 Rep: ChronoSpan

How To:
Find Ruby-red Eye Shard. The Ruby-red Eye Shard will mark by the Arrow. Click it to get Ruby-red Eye Shard. Then defeat Moglin Ghost to get Tales of Planet-Peril Page and Necromancy in AQ Knowledge. After that, report back to Warlic to get your reward.


Task 4: A Fable of Dragons
Description: Elements are a part of everything you see or senses, a vital part of the world I call DragonFable. Slay the Togs and Ninjas to earn the information you will want to have. Gain knowledge of the Elemental Orbs, the Draconic Prophecy, and relics of this alternate world!

Items Required: Elemental Orb Knowledge (8), "Draconic Prophecy" Page (6), Bony Claw (2)

Rewards: 500 Gold, 500 XP, 500 Rep: ChronoSpan

How To:
Find Bony Claw. The Bony Claw will mark by the Arrow. Click it to get Bony Claw. Then defeat Ninja or Tog to get Elemental Orb Knowledge and "Draconic Prophecy" Page. After that, report back to Warlic to get your reward.


Task 5: Mechas and Quests
Description: It's a good thing you've got mechs AND spaceshios, because the you who lived in this past world had to fight an inter-galactic enemy. Slay the Shadowscythe constructs and training globes to learn what you must. And take a look at that mysterious mirror while you're there.

Items Required: Shadowscythe Combat Strategy (7), Galactic Hypertron Engines: A Primer (1), Mysterious Mirror (1)

Rewards: 600 Gold, 600 XP, 600 Rep: ChronoSpan

How To:
Find Mysterious Mirror. The Mysterious Mirror will mark by the Arrow. Click it to get Mysterious Mirror. Then defeat Shadowscythe or Training Globe to get Shadowscythe Combat Strategy and Galactic Hypertron Engines: A Primer. After that, report back to Warlic to get your reward.


Task 6: After the Chaos
Description: This simulation IS your world... after YOU fail to achieve your destiny. Speak with the fallen Alteon's daughter, Queen Brittany, and see how the rigors of world-wide upheaval have twisted her into a much darker person. Speak with her knights, save Princesses Victoria and Tara, and see what your world faces if you fail!

Items Required: The Future is Now (3), Past Failures Brought Us Here (2), Princess Freed... but for what? (2), Chaos Eye (1)

Rewards: 700 Gold, 700 XP, 700 Rep: ChronoSpan

How To:
Find Chaos Eye. The Chaos Eye will mark by the Arrow. Click it to get Chaos Eye. Then defeat Queen's Knight, Queen's Recruit or Queen's Lieutenant to get The Future is Now, Past Failures Brought Us Here and Princess Freed... but for what?. After that, report back to Warlic to get your reward.





TALK TO QUEEN VICTORIA

Intro: Ah, Hero. I didn't think we would see you here after your... failure. Drakath's Portal has been opened, the conqueror has come, and thos of us who haven't been Chaorrupted have learned how to live alongside it. My father was slain, as you know, and it required much sacrifice and blood to put down the anarchy that arose. Swordhaven is mine to rule, and I will not allow insubordination. Go, see how much has changed. Do not ask what became of Drakath.




TALK TO CYSERO'S ORB

Intro: Equilibirum-- harmony-- is one of nature's goals. The elements which make up a universe should, if life were perfect, reside in peace. It's not, they don't, and that's why entire elemental planes collided. But I'm jumping ahead just a bit. I shouldn't be able to, not having a head, but there you go. The Elemental Orbs are what you need to know about for this world. Learning-- GO!




TALK TO LUCRETIA

Intro: The future is made of time-wimey, weebly-wobbly stuff... try not to touch it too often. Especially when it causes aliens to drop by and destroy whole sections of the Universe. But that is a problem for another day. For now, better to focus on mountain-sized problems instead of planet-sized ones. Learn what you can of this world.




TALK TO TEK

Intro: The Shadowscythe are omnivillains. They go everywhere, slay in everywhen. You haven't seen evidence of them, but that doesn't mean you're entirely safe. You just aren't in danger YET. You can't know for sure unless you can predict the future. And those that can, aren't telling. But knowing of them is vital to understanding your worlds' past.





Then you met with Ladoa, which you already met and fought at the new year 2012 a while ago. He's the one who created The Span and he is actually one of the Chaos Lord, well, unfinished Chaos Lord, because he still can control of himself.

At new year 2012 event, he have to fight you to test and examine how ready you're to face the incoming threats. He want to teach you and prepare you before he succumb completely to Drakath's influence.
